IAMTS at Wiener Elektrotage 2024: A Continued Commitment to E-Mobility and Autonomous Vehicle Certification
IAMTS has proudly continued its tradition of contributing to “Wiener Elektrotage”, an event dedicated to e-mobility and innovative energy solutions. For those unfamiliar with the event, Wiener Elektrotage (Vienna Electric Days) took place from September 11th to 13th, 2024, in Vienna. This event showcases cutting-edge advancements in electric vehicles and energy technologies, offering attendees the chance to explore the latest innovations, participate in test drives, and gain insights into energy solutions for a sustainable future.
As in previous years, visitors enjoyed a dynamic mix of presentations, expert consultations, and live demonstrations of Level 4 (L4) autonomous vehicles. Leading brands from the automotive and two-wheeler industries presented their newest electric models, many of which were available for complimentary test drives
Once again, IAMTS was proud to participate in Wiener Elektrotage, partnering with INYO, a manufacturer of L4 autonomous vehicles designed to transport up to four passengers. This collaboration aimed to demonstrate the process of certifying L4 vehicles. These advanced autonomous vehicles are specifically designed for urban environments, with INYO at the forefront of using cutting-edge technology and strategies to enhance safety and efficiency in urban transport.
During the event, Christian Lausmann moderated a panel on smart mobility solutions in cities like Vienna—an increasingly crucial topic as urban areas embrace new transportation technologies. Panel participants were Mr. Michael Nikowitz – Coordinator Autonomous -Driving - from the ministry of climate protection, infrastructure and mobility (www.bmk.at), Mr. Reinhold Sahl – “Burghauptmann” of the City of Vienna - and Marcus Zwick – CEO of INYO.
IAMTS was also honored to host a joint booth at Wiener Elektrotage 2024, alongside our partners INYO, TÜV SÜD, CADFEM, Augsburg University, and the Wiener Burghauptmannschaft Österreich. Marcus Zwick) and Christian Lausmann (Managing Director of IAMTS) had the privilege of welcoming distinguished guests, including Federal Minister for Labour and Economy, Mr. Martin Kocher, and City Councillor for Finance, Mr. Peter Hanke, to IAMTS booth.
